Het was je misschien helemaal aan je voorbij gegaan, maar Crysis 2 maakt geen gebruik van de PlayStation Move controller. Ondanks dat het ons toch wel vrij duidelijk leek heeft Crytek onderzoek gedaan naar de vraag of Crysis 2 zou werken met Move, en het antwoord was 'nee'. De volgende reden wordt erbij gegeven:
“We felt that in terms of what we were doing and the controls we needed, it didn’t really lend itself to the kind of gameplay experience we were looking to achieve. I think it’s an interesting concept, but I don’t think it’s quite there yet. I can’t think of too many first person shooters that are really embracing it at this point in time. There’s definitely something there but also with shooter controls, the sighting, being able to change your modes and your armour and switch into stealth mode – that makes it difficult for us to work with it at the moment.”
Crysis 2 komt op 25 maart uit voor de Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 en PC.
